DIY Black Floral Turban

Hej hej, I have just finished this beautiful Black Floral Jersey Turban! I found this great explained, free pattern from this website. It is very easy to sew and just takes about 45 minutes!

Try yours today or check out my etsy shop for the finished version :)

DIY Leopard Turban Headband

This DIY turban headband is the perfect accessory to pimp your everday style. You can wear the turban headband as well as an vintage hollywood inspired, glamourous party accessory, as combined to an basic black outfit to make a great statement of style!
The tutorial is very easy and you can also recycle some old T-shirts!

Here are the things which you will need for this tutorial:

Leopard patterned elastic Jersey fabric
(or any other chosen elastic knit or jersey fabric)
Fabric Scissors
Sewing Machine/or needle and yarn for the handsewn version
Iron

Cut two stripes of elastic jersey fabric with the measurements 60 cm width x 22 cm. Sew the strips together (1cm seam allowance) so they are half of the width.

Turn the fabric inside out so you have two tubes of the fabric, then iron the two stripes and place one stripe over the other.

Twist both stripes and bring the four open edges together. Make sure that the ends are exactly placed onto each other. Then sew the four ends together and turn inside out so that the seam allowance is inside. Finished!!!

Now you can also add metal studs or sequins for a iconic look!
I hope you like this tutorial!!

Jeffrey Campbell My Way – Space Booties

This is my second entry for the “Jeffrey Campbell My Way” shoe design contest! Space was my main inspiration source for this shoe design. The top of the shoes is made of digital galaxy printed leather, the heels are 3 dimensional star shaped to emphasis the space and stars inspiration. Hope you like them!

The “Jeffrey Campbell-My way” shoe design contest

Shoes are my favourite accessories! I love them because they can update every simple outfit and express your inner moods and style! So when I read about the “Jeffrey Campbell My Way” Shoe design contest on Chictopia yesterday, I decided to participate and tried my best to design a great pair of wedge boots! After hours of sketching I finally decided to realize these Zipper wedges which combine sexy sophistication with a hint of rock star chic due to the contrasting materials like soft suede, smooth goat leather and shiny metal zippers. These shoes are very comfortable to wear, due to the suede covered body and wedge featuring zipper detailed straps, made of soft black goat leather, which enhance the curves of the boot. The metallic lustre of either rock inspired silver shiny zippers or soft shimmering bronce zippers distribute these boots a sexy attitude. Perfect combined with black leather shorts, opaque tights and a oversized shirt! Hope you like it! Please vote for my design on Chictopia.com

The army version is a combination of washed-out khaki coloured canvas and chocolate brown, smooth goat leather straps accented with bronce zippers.

DIY Studded Denim Vest

Denim Vests are another 90ies inspired item which is hot right now. If you have an old denim jacket somewhere in you closet, you can transform it into a hot fashion item in a few steps:
1. Cut off sleeves and hem into a shorter length

2. Sew around hemline and add metal studs

3. Team with black maxi dress, many gold chains and a straw hat for a festival inspired style!

DIY Americana Shirt

The great editorial “Another day in the USA” of Oyster Mag, photographed by Bec Parsons @ Company1 and Bartolomeo Celestino with gorgeous model Charlotte Kemp Muhl, inspired me to another little DIY project … please read below and try it yourself!

Via oystermag.com

These are the things which you will need for this DIY project:

Fabric Paint
Paintbrush
Adhesive Foil
Paper
Scissors
Pencil
A white t-shirt
Iron

1. Cut out about 15 stars from the adhesive foil

2. Apply the adhesive foil stars onto your t-shirt, mark the corner which should be blue with adhesive foil and carefully apply the blue fabric paint

Wail until the fabric paint has dried and remove the stars

Cut about 8 stripes out of the adhesive foil, I use a width of 5 cm, the length depends on the length of your t-shirt, and attach the stripes parallel onto the shirt. It is easier to prevent overpainting the blue area by applying two stripes of foil over the blue colour!

Use the coating roll to apply the red colour and go on until all free stripes are red

Wait until the fabric paint has dried (about 2-3 hours) and carefully remove the adhesive foil stripes.

Tadaaa….finished!!! Wear it with used denim shorts and rough boots!

DIY Leather Ankle Cuffs

Lately I found many variations of ankle cuff boots and sandals all over the internet. So I thought about a DIY leather cuff project which gives you the possibility to transform many of your basic shoes to fresh looking ankle cuff variations. The pattern and more variations will be ready for your free download next week!

Pictures via strawberry-tags-preorder.blogspot.com, shopbop.com and pixiemarket.com

These leather cuffs are made of black leather and silver zippers. You can wear them up for a sexy sophisticated look

Or turn them down to show the casual striped inlining which gives you the possibility to revamp your flats in a casual way.

For one pair of cuffs, you will need:

* outer fabric of your choice about 21cm x 28 cm, depending on the length
* inlining fabric of your choice about 21cm x 28 cm, depending on the length
* scissors, needles, marker and two zippers

Firstly print out the pattern and cut the fabric

Next attach the zippers to the fabric and sew the pieces together

At last sew the inling inside and sew a decorative seam all around

Tadaaaa… finished! I am looking forward to see your variations!
