This DIY turban headband is the perfect accessory to pimp your everday style. You can wear the turban headband as well as an vintage hollywood inspired, glamourous party accessory, as combined to an basic black outfit to make a great statement of style!
The tutorial is very easy and you can also recycle some old T-shirts!
Here are the things which you will need for this tutorial:
Leopard patterned elastic Jersey fabric
(or any other chosen elastic knit or jersey fabric)
Fabric Scissors
Sewing Machine/or needle and yarn for the handsewn version
Iron

Cut two stripes of elastic jersey fabric with the measurements 60 cm width x 22 cm. Sew the strips together (1cm seam allowance) so they are half of the width.

Turn the fabric inside out so you have two tubes of the fabric, then iron the two stripes and place one stripe over the other.

Twist both stripes and bring the four open edges together. Make sure that the ends are exactly placed onto each other. Then sew the four ends together and turn inside out so that the seam allowance is inside. Finished!!!

Now you can also add metal studs or sequins for a iconic look!
I hope you like this tutorial!!

This is my second entry for the “Jeffrey Campbell My Way” shoe design contest! Space was my main inspiration source for this shoe design. The top of the shoes is made of digital galaxy printed leather, the heels are 3 dimensional star shaped to emphasis the space and stars inspiration. Hope you like them!

Shoes are my favourite accessories! I love them because they can update every simple outfit and express your inner moods and style! So when I read about the “Jeffrey Campbell My Way” Shoe design contest on Chictopia yesterday, I decided to participate and tried my best to design a great pair of wedge boots! After hours of sketching I finally decided to realize these Zipper wedges which combine sexy sophistication with a hint of rock star chic due to the contrasting materials like soft suede, smooth goat leather and shiny metal zippers. These shoes are very comfortable to wear, due to the suede covered body and wedge featuring zipper detailed straps, made of soft black goat leather, which enhance the curves of the boot. The metallic lustre of either rock inspired silver shiny zippers or soft shimmering bronce zippers distribute these boots a sexy attitude. Perfect combined with black leather shorts, opaque tights and a oversized shirt! Hope you like it! Please vote for my design on Chictopia.com

The army version is a combination of washed-out khaki coloured canvas and chocolate brown, smooth goat leather straps accented with bronce zippers.
